We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee our operations at our Port Elizabeth facility. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of production processes and will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. You will lead a dynamic team and implement strategies to optimize production workflow.

Responsibilities

• Set production goals and monitor progress towards achievement.
• Develop strategies for production efficiency and cost reduction.
• Ensure timely communication of production updates to senior management.
• Implement quality control measures to meet industry standards.
• Conduct performance reviews of production team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to align production with broader company objectives.
• Participate in recruitment and training of new team members.
• Track and manage production budgets and expenditures.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Production Management or Engineering
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role

• Production Scheduling

Certifications

• Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
