Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Supply Chain Manager to drive our logistics operations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will oversee the planning and implementation of supply chain strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain operations and develop plans for process improvement and optimization.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain functions, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
• Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans.
• Ensure effective communication with suppliers and partners to maintain strong working relationships.
• Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Engage in strategic planning to align supply chain management with business objectives.
• Mentor and develop the supply chain team, fostering professional growth.
• Actively participate in budget planning and cost management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or comparable field
• MBA with a focus on supply chain is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of ISO standards: Familiarity with ISO standards related to logistics and supply chain.
