Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer in Cape Town who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will drive the execution of major projects, contribute to design reviews, and liaise with clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining compliance with structural engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural assessments and modifications for existing buildings.
• Perform complex calculations related to load-bearing assessments and structural integrity.
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective design solutions.
• Stay abreast of advancements in structural engineering technologies and methodologies.
• Facilitate communication across teams and act as a primary point of contact for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Revit

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license

Languages

• English: Fluent
