Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our talented team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical components and systems within a variety of innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines and deliverables for mechanical engineering tasks.
• Use CAD software to design 3D models of mechanical systems.
• Perform testing and validation of mechanical components against specifications.
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve engineering problems.
• Document findings and recommend improvements for future designs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Attend industry conferences and training sessions to enhance knowledge.
• Develop and implement processes for effective project management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design or engineering roles
