Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our talented team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design and analysis, with experience in using CAD software to create innovative solutions. You will be involved in all phases of a project from conception through to execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions to enhance product performance.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings.
• Perform thermal and fluid analysis to improve designs.
• Liaise with clients to ensure project specifications are met.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Engineering registration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Mechanical Systems Design

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management software: Proficient with software like MS Project or similar tools.
