Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with various physical and cognitive issues, using your skills to enhance their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Train support staff in implementing therapeutic techniques.
• Conduct research to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
• Advocate for client needs within the healthcare setting.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field is preferred
• Registration with the HPCSA is mandatory

Experience

• 2+ years of experience, ideally in a rehabilitation hospital or similar environment
