NLP Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NLP Engineer to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will work on exciting projects that involve developing and implementing natural language processing algorithms. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and programming.

Responsibilities

• Create data processing pipelines for text data acquisition and analysis.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings.
• Utilize deep learning architectures such as RNNs or transformers for model development.
• Deploy NLP models within production environments and monitor their performance.
• Employ version control systems for code management and collaboration.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate project results.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline like Computer Science
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in developing NLP applications
