Job Description

As a Dietetic Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the preparation and delivery of meals to patients. You will work closely with dietitians to ensure dietary requirements are met while maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary needs.
  • Document food intake and report any concerns to dietitians.
  • Maintain food service areas in accordance with hygiene regulations.
  • Work with the nutrition team to develop meal plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Formal training in dietary management is preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in a dietary or nutritional role is beneficial.

Languages
  • English: Fluent
