Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Financial Planner who is passionate about helping clients navigate their financial futures. Based in Stellenbosch, you will be responsible for conducting financial assessments, developing individualized strategies, and providing ongoing support and advice to ensure client success in wealth accumulation and financial security.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients in the preparation of their financial goals.
• Research investment options and keep abreast of market conditions.
• Prepare detailed reports on financial performance.
• Assist in estate planning and retirement fund management.
• Maintain confidentiality and act with the highest level of professionalism.
• Implement and monitor investment strategies and performance metrics.
• Advocate for clients’ interests in relevant financial transactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Services or a related field
• Honours degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial sector

Technical Skills

• Risk Assessment
• Portfolio Management

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Accredited Personal Financial Planner (APFP)
• FPI Membership (Financial Planning Institute)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of estate planning: Expertise in navigating estate requirements and strategies for clients.
