Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be involved in all phases of the design process, from concept to implementation. We're looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset and hands-on experience in mechanical design and problem-solving to join our dynamic engineering team in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical engineering aspect of multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing mechanical systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns within the department.
• Prepare presentations to communicate project findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced certification in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles

• CAD Software

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

• Afrikaans: Conversational
