Job Description

We are looking for skilled Sewing Machine Operators to join our production team, focusing on high-quality leather products. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent attention to detail and be proficient in operating various sewing machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform stitching operations on leather goods with precision.
• Conduct regular checks on sewing machine functionality and report issues.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure accurate replication of designs.
• Maintain workspace organization and uphold health and safety standards.
• Facilitate the smooth flow of materials and finished goods within the production facility.
• Train and mentor junior staff on sewing techniques and operational best practices.
• Support other areas of production as needed to meet overall team goals.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Experience in technical production is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in leather product manufacturing preferred

Languages
