We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to bring their expertise to our projects in Cape Town. You will be responsible for developing structural designs, conducting analyses, and facilitating communication with project stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Review permittance and adherence to health and safety guidelines on construction sites.
• Enhance sustainability measures in project designs.
• Research and implement new materials and technologies in structural engineering.
• Prepare presentations for project proposals and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the engineering sector

Technical Skills

• ETABS
• Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time management

Certifications

• Green Building Council of South Africa certification is a plus

Languages

• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software: Experience with 3D design to enhance project presentations.
• Participation in structural engineering projects from inception to completion: Hands-on involvement in diverse projects throughout all phases of development.
