Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our engaging team in Durban. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to our internal staff and assist in maintaining our IT systems. As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting issues, providing solutions, and ensuring optimal performance of IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning IT equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Assist in network configuration and analysis.
• Work closely with outside vendors for larger IT projects and issues.
• Compile and maintain documentation related to IT support and management.
• Educate staff on best practices for IT security and data management.

Requirements

Education

• Computer Science or Information Technology degree

Experience

• 1+ years in a technical support role is preferred
