Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Civil Construction Inspector to monitor construction sites in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will ensure that all safety and building regulations are adhered to, providing oversight on material quality and construction methods used.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans and regulations.
• Identify potential safety hazards and recommend solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of all inspections and correspondence.
• Work collaboratively with the project management team to enforce quality standards.
• Assist in the training of site personnel on safety practices.
• Conduct inspections for final occupancy permits.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Certification in Construction Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a site inspector in civil construction
