Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to inform planning decisions.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and community stakeholders.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients and local government.
  • Develop sustainable land use plans that align with city policies.
  • Engage with communities to gather input and address their concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and zoning laws.
  • Monitor project progress and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Advise on public transportation and infrastructure developments.
  • Facilitate workshops and community meetings.
  • Foster an understanding of environmental impact assessments in planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in urban planning or related area

Certifications
  • Registered Planner (RPP) or equivalent
