Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure guest satisfaction at our Pretoria location. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a thorough understanding of hotel management principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations to ensure profitable management of the hotel.
  • Supervise recruitment, training, and performance management of hotel staff.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Drive guest loyalty through exceptional service and personalized experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.
  • Monitor and improve hotel metrics, aiming for continuous improvement.
  • Create marketing campaigns to attract new guests and strengthen repeat business.
  • Represent the hotel in community events and partnerships.
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings to promote open communication and feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business Management
  • MBA or similar advanced qualification preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of prior experience managing a hotel or similar hospitality venue
