Job Description

Join us as an Insurance Underwriter, where you will leverage your analytical skills to assess risk and underwrite insurance policies. This position requires a detailed understanding of insurance laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and brokers. Your work will help maintain the integrity of our underwriting process.

Responsibilities

• Assess insurance policies for risks and pricing adequacy.
• Communicate decisions to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Review policy renewals and amendments for accuracy.
• Work closely with actuarial teams to develop pricing models.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Participate in underwriting audits and compliance reviews.
• Contribute to marketing efforts and client presentations.
• Utilize underwriting software effectively for policy management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, or related field
• Professional underwriting certification preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in insurance underwriting
