Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our Port Elizabeth team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in IT support and administration, looking to make a positive impact within our organization. As a key player in our IT department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing technical assistance to end-users, and ensuring seamless operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to user requests for support and assistance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computer systems and peripherals.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.
• Assist in the onboarding of new employees by setting up their IT resources.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance on IT tools and software to users.
• Support the IT team in maintaining an efficient and secure IT environment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support roles.

• CompTIA A+ Certification

Languages
