Shoe Machine Operator and Tender

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Machine Operator and Tender to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various shoe manufacturing machines, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate various shoe making machines in accordance with specifications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure the footwear meets company standards.
• Document and report any machinery malfunctions or production discrepancies.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the availability of raw materials for production.
• Train new staff on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in machine operation, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Advantageous
