Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description

Looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to work in our Pretoria practice. You will be responsible for performing surgeries, conducting examinations, and advising clients on pet care, all while working within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals and check for signs of diseases or injuries.
• Perform surgery and apply treatments to alleviate animal suffering.
• Educate clients on animal care and health concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in emergency care as required.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Veterinary Science degree from an accredited institution
• Postgraduate qualifications are preferable

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary practice
