In the role of Dispatch Coordinator, you'll manage logistical functions focusing on optimizing delivery routes, maintaining communication with drivers, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Utilize logistics software to track deliveries and optimize dispatch performance.
• Ensure timely communication of delivery status to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Compile and analyse dispatch reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dispatch processes.
• Assist in inventory management and replenishment processes when needed.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss challenges and innovations in dispatch.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12
• Degree in Logistics, Business Management or equivalent is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or dispatch coordination

Technical Skills

• Fleet Management Software
• Supply Chain Principles

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in e-commerce logistics: Knowledge of logistics processes specific to e-commerce operations.
