We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our passionate team in Johannesburg. You will be pivotal in delivering exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating our patients on oral hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough dental cleanings and hygiene procedures.
• Conduct assessments to determine patients' hygiene needs.
• Provide counsel on effective dental care and hygiene.
• Assist in various dental procedures as necessary.
• Record and maintain detailed patient records and treatment notes.
• Collaborate with the dental team for comprehensive care.
• Participate in training to remain current with dental practices.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene
• Bachelor's in a related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 2-4 years of experience in a dental practice

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Scaling and Polishing
• Dental Radiography Skills

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Patient Management

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
