Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Veterinarian to join our team in Durban. This role involves diagnosing and treating a range of animal health issues, performing surgical procedures, and providing preventative care. Ideal candidates will be committed to animal welfare and work well in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Examine sick animals and determine diagnoses.
  • Provide surgical and therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for various conditions.
  • Facilitate the health and well-being of animals in our care.
  • Conduct follow-up consultations to monitor progress.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the clinic.
  • Support the training and development of junior staff.
  • Engage in professional development to stay updated on veterinary practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Further qualifications in animal behavior or specialized training is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years practicing as a veterinarian in a clinical or hospital setting
