Job Description

We are looking for skilled Pressers to join our textile manufacturing team. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring the quality and precision of garments through expert pressing techniques, contributing to our commitment to excellence in textile production.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust pressing machines according to garment specifications.
• Monitor the quality of garments throughout the pressing process.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding production flow and issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist in the training of new employees in equipment operation and safety.
• Record production outputs for tracking efficiency.
• Ensure proper handling of materials to minimize waste.

Requirements

Education

• Further Education and Training Certificate in Textile Production is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in the textile industry, specifically in pressing roles

Technical Skills

• Machine Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of sustainable textiles: Understanding the principles of sustainable fabric production and pressing techniques.
