Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and audits. You'll be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Maintain financial databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports for stakeholders.
• Perform variance analysis and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
• Professional accounting qualifications will be an advantage.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
