Job Description

We seek a passionate Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective training programs that enhance employee skills and support their career advancement. You will play a vital role in assessing training needs, designing learning experiences, and measuring the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis to ensure appropriate resource allocation.
• Review curriculum and training methods to improve the quality and relevance of programs.
• Support and advise managers on best practices in learning and development.
• Actively explore new learning technologies to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Engage with external training providers to enrich training offerings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Organizational Development
• Relevant Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering training programs

Technical Skills

• Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
• SABPP (South African Board for People Practices)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile training methodologies: Experience working with Agile teams to facilitate learning and development.
• Certifications in industry-related areas (e.g., SAP, ITIL): Further certification can enhance candidate's qualifications.
