Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should possess solid HR expertise, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with labor legislation. You will work closely with management to develop policies and programs that align with company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews and reference checks for candidates.
  • Implement HR best practices in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a workplace culture that promotes diversity and inclusion.
  • Provide guidance on employee welfare and workplace health.
  • Assist with the administration of payroll and benefits.
  • Prepare HR documentation and compliance reports.
  • Coordinate with external HR service providers.
  • Develop retention strategies to minimize staff turnover.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years in a similar HR role
