Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. This role involves designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components for a variety of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a passion for engineering to improve our products and processes. Experience in CAD software and a solid understanding of mechanical principles are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects and ensure deliverables.
• Assess project feasibility and technical requirements.
• Provide innovative solutions to enhance product performance.
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee installations.
• Develop user manuals and technical literature.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure effective communication across departments.
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
• Drive the development of new technologies and processes.
• Support marketing efforts related to new product launches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional accreditation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
