Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a strong ability to manage financial records accurately. This role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations including invoicing, transactions, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct variance analysis and report findings to management.
• Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes.
• Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Support the finance director in strategic planning and forecasting.
• Ensure timely completion of annual audits.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions and external auditors.
• Stay updated with changes in financial regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CPA) is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role
