Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our passionate team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on drug therapies, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a commitment to enhancing patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage medication therapy management for chronic patients.
• Document and report pharmaceutical errors to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate drug utililisation and conduct drug utilization reviews.
• Educate new staff on pharmacy procedures and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with SAPC
