Legal Counsel

Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, you will provide strategic legal advice to various business units, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will draft and review contracts, conduct legal research, and represent the company in negotiations and disputes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance programs and policies.
• Advise on employment law issues and other workplace relations matters.
• Conduct risk assessments related to legal issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand legal implications.
• Engage with regulatory bodies as required.
• Interface with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide legal insight.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent qualification
• Master’s in Law or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in providing legal advice in corporate contexts.
