Job Description

As a Trial Court Judge, you will preside over legal proceedings, ensuring that justice is served with impartiality and fairness. You will interpret laws and make decisions based on legal precedents, managing court procedures effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of court sessions and efficient case management.
• Mentor junior legal staff and assist in their professional development.
• Engage with community stakeholders to raise legal awareness.
• Foster an environment of respect and integrity within the courtroom.
• Handle jury selections and instructions as needed.
• Collaborate with legal professionals to improve court procedures.
• Evaluate and rule on motions and objections during trials.
• Provide feedback on legal reforms and judicial processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Law is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of legal experience with significant litigation experience

Technical Skills

• Criminal Law Knowledge
• Civil Law Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Conflict Resolution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Labor Law: Familiarity with labor regulations and dispute resolution.
