Construction Manager

Job Description

As a Construction Manager, you will lead all aspects of construction projects in Durban. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects comply with national standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of construction processes and effective team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct onsite construction activities and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Communicate regularly with clients to manage expectations and resolve any concerns.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment required for projects.
• Implement health and safety protocols to protect all personnel on site.
• Review and evaluate contractor proposals and bids.
• Maintain accurate records of project documentation and reports.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Construction Management or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role
