Job Description

The Fuel Oil Clerk will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery and distribution of fuel oil products. This role works closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and accurate record keeping. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update records of fuel oil deliveries and distribution.
• Communicate with customers to schedule deliveries and resolve issues.
• Oversee the management of fuel oil quality and safety standards.
• Work with logistics providers to ensure timely and safe transport of products.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports and forecasts for fuel oil usage.
• Assist management in improving supply chain efficiencies.
• Conduct risk assessments related to fuel oil distribution.
• Manage emergency response plans for fuel oil spills or leaks.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in logistics and supply chain management will be advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management in the petroleum industry

• Experience with logistics software
