Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care at our Durban facility. You'll play a critical role in assessing and planning patient care, administering medications, and educating patients and families. Your dedication will make a real difference in patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care tailored to patient needs.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and monitor effects.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment options.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Observe and report on patients' conditions to the medical team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to policies related to patient care and safety.
• Promote ethical behavior within the healthcare team.
• Participate in nursing research and evidence-based practice.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with patients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized school of nursing
• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (advantageous)

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred

Advantageous

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification: Certification in neonatal care is highly regarded.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR): Familiarity with EHR systems for patient management is of great benefit.
