Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician in our Pretoria location, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations by assisting with prescriptions and customer consultations, while ensuring that all tasks meet regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Manage inventory and ensure medication availability.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Prepare and label prescriptions according to pharmacy standards.
• Maintain accurate records of medications and prescriptions.
• Educate patients on proper medication use and potential side effects.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Support the pharmacy team in daily operations and administrative tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Diploma in Pharmacy or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
