Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Durban. In this role, you'll be responsible for monitoring and protecting our network and systems against cyber threats, conducting risk assessments, and developing effective security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential threats and attack vectors.
• Maintain threat intelligence capabilities.
• Collaborate with external security partners for threat sharing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for staff.
• Evaluate and implement security tools and technologies.
• Create and maintain documentation regarding security procedures.
• Provide support for cyber incident response planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field

• Malware Analysis

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
