Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs that engage and empower local communities. You will work closely with community members, local organizations, and stakeholders to promote our initiatives and ensure their success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of community outreach programs.
• Work with diverse groups to understand their needs and challenges.
• Organize and oversee community events, ensuring high participation.
• Collect and analyze feedback from community members to improve initiatives.
• Liaise with media and other organizations to promote outreach efforts.
• Assist in grant writing and securing funds for outreach projects.
• Train and mentor volunteers working on outreach activities.
• Represent the organization at community meetings and events.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community outreach or social services
