Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations, ensuring that all payroll functions are executed efficiently and accurately. You will serve as a critical point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily payroll tasks and ensure timely payroll execution.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations affecting payroll.
  • Support the development of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Educate employees about payroll processes and benefits.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for payroll processing.
  • Continuously improve payroll methodologies for efficiency.
  • Monitor and update payroll software as needed.
  • Conduct employee training on payroll systems.
  • Act as a liaison between payroll and other departments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Higher qualification in payroll management advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of payroll management experience
