Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our vibrant HR team in Durban. In this role, you will handle a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and performance management. A strong commitment to enhancing workplace culture and employee engagement is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programmes for new employees.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and talent management initiatives.
  • Provide advice on HR-related issues and company policies.
  • Facilitate workshops aimed at improving team dynamics and productivity.
  • Keep abreast of HR legislation and industry trends affecting the workforce.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR metrics and analysis.
  • Support initiatives that promote employee well-being and satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration
  • Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role
