Job Description

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management while ensuring compliance with local labor laws. A strong understanding of HR practices and a passion for people management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for talent acquisition and retention.
• Oversee compliance with employment legislation.
• Support team members with HR queries and concerns.
• Conduct training sessions on company policies.
• Manage workplace investigations and disciplinary procedures.
• Support the payroll administration process.
• Facilitate performance management processes.
• Set up and participate in employee feedback sessions.
• Organize team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• HR management certification is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a HR Generalist role

Technical Skills

• Recruitment software

Certifications

• CIPD Level 7
• HR Management Diploma, recognized in South Africa

Languages

• English: Fluent
