Responsibilities

• Manage the emergency department staff and workflow during shifts.
• Supervise the care delivered to emergency patients.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with health regulations.
• Lead emergency response drills and training.
• Collaborate with specialists for patient referrals.
• Conduct assessments to improve emergency services and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a high-volume emergency department

Technical Skills

• Emergency Resuscitation Techniques
• Diagnostic Imaging

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Stress Management

Certifications

• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fellowship in a relevant area of emergency medicine: Additional qualifications will be considered a plus.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems: Familiarity with EMR for documentation and patient tracking.
