Job Description

We're on the lookout for an Employee Wellness Officer to lead our initiatives in promoting a healthy work environment in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and manage wellness programs that address the physical and mental health needs of our diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of wellness strategies.
  • Create tailored wellness programs aimed at enhancing employee health.
  • Evaluate and report on the impact of wellness initiatives.
  • Work with HR to ensure wellness policies align with company values.
  • Encourage diverse employee contributions to wellness programming.
  • Coordinate health screenings and wellness challenges.
  • Maintain relationships with health service providers.
  • Provide training on mental health awareness and stress management.
  • Ensure all wellness offerings are inclusive and accessible.
  • Serve as an advocate for employee health and well-being initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Wellness Management
  • Relevant certifications in wellness programs preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in wellness or human resources
