Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing mining operations, ensuring safety and efficiency, and implementing innovative solutions to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative technologies for mineral extraction.
• Create and maintain detailed project documentation for audits.
• Utilize CAD software for designing mining layouts and profiles.
• Facilitate regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Mining Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of operational mining experience

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic
