Job Description

Seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to enhance our medical team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health through Physical exams and diagnostic tests.
• Formulate patient-centered treatment strategies.
• Assist in surgical procedures as required.
• Conduct post-operative care and assessments.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients.
• Foster relationships with patients for better health outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in a medical specialty is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in clinical practice

Technical Skills

• Emergency Medicine
• Surgery

• Leadership
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingualism: Ability to communicate in multiple languages, strengthening patient relations.
