Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at our facility in Johannesburg, you will provide holistic patient care and support. Your role will involve assessing patient health problems, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status.
• Oversee and manage care for multiple patients in a busy environment.
• Implement care strategies that improve patient experiences and outcomes.
• Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and external agencies for comprehensive care.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
• Document changes in patients’ conditions accurately and inform relevant staff.
• Actively participate in hospital committees aimed at improving healthcare quality.
• Facilitate effective communication among healthcare team members.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a hospital setting

Languages

• English: Fluent
