Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bell Ringer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining bells in accordance with established guidelines. This position requires a strong attention to detail, precision, and the ability to create harmonious bell ringing performances for various occasions.

Responsibilities

• Perform bell ringing at community events and special occasions.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth execution of performances.
• Maintain logs of bell ringing practices and events.
• Train new bell ringers and assist in skill development.
• Evaluate and refine ringing techniques to enhance performance quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in bell ringing or related musical field is advantageous but not required

Experience

• Prior experience as a Bell Ringer is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for suitable candidates with a genuine interest in bell ringing.

• Experience in maintaining and repairing bell ringing equipment: Essential for keeping equipment in top condition.
• Understanding of bell ringing history and traditions: Valuable for providing context to performances.
