Training and Development Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Training and Development Specialist to lead our training initiatives in Durban. In this role, you will assess training needs, design impactful training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness to enhance employee skills and performance.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
• Create engaging training content that meets the needs of diverse learners.
• Analyze training outcomes to measure the impact of development programs.
• Collaborate with external partners to bring in guest trainers when necessary.
• Promote a culture of learning by encouraging employee participation in training programs.
• Utilize training software and tools to manage training activities and documentation.
• Develop reports for management on training metrics and ROI.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in learning and development.
• Conduct follow-up sessions to reinforce learning.
• Assist in compliance training to meet legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Psychology
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the Learning and Development field
