Registered Nurse

Job Description

In the role of Registered Nurse, you will utilize your clinical expertise to improve the lives of patients in a vibrant healthcare environment. You will perform assessments, create care plans, and administer medications while also providing emotional support to patients and their families. Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient health.
• Administer intravenous (IV) therapy and medications as directed.
• Assist in procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Promote health education among patients and their families.
• Contribute to team meetings to discuss patient care objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Registered Nurse qualification accredited by the South African Nursing Council

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in critical care nursing: Familiarity with high-dependency and intensive care units.
