Job Description

As a Social Worker with Community Support Services in Cape Town, you will play a vital role in assisting communities, offering guidance, and providing resources to those in need. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client progress regularly and adjust plans as necessary.
• Offer resource referrals to clients for external services.
• Engage in community outreach to raise awareness of available programs.
• Document case histories and maintain confidentiality in all client interactions.
• Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts to support programs.
• Advocate for policy changes that support client welfare.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations
